Irina and Christian’s Elopement Photoshoot

Location: Kapolei, Hawaii
Camera setup: Canon R6 + 24-105mm f4 RF lens and 50mm f1.8 RF lens
Summary: Capturing photos on these rocks are rare because most of my clients prefer the beach. But for this elopement, there were three Hawaiian monk seals lounging on the beach, and the rest of it was taken up by other photographers with their clients. Seeing the beach so crowded with people made me a bit nervous because I wanted nothing more than an empty beach for my clients’ intimate elopement ceremony. But Irina and Christian made sure their special day was nothing short of perfect! They both loved the look of the rocks under their feet and the sunset as their backdrop. And having no one near us was an added bonus for sure!
